Clinical Application Of Cold Therapy

Cold therapy is often used clinically in the early stages of acute soft tissue injury, as well as muscle spasm, high fever, and heat stroke caused by neuralgia, neuritis, nerve excitement or muscle fatigue.

The contraindications of cold therapy are: thromboangiitis obliterans, thrombophlebitis, Raynaud's disease, skin sensory disturbances, severe hypertension and kidney disease, and elderly and infant patients with weak physique.
